Double Rivet Hand Tools
Beschreibung
Double rivet hand tools provide a hand-setting route for matched magnetic snap components. They suit sample development and small assembly trials where a dedicated production press is not part of the setup.
A supported base and a matched setting tool help control where the force reaches the rivet. The set is still product-specific: a tool that looks close can mark the face or leave the attachment loose.

Hand setting for double-rivet sample work
Confirm the RC-DR hand-tool reference, snap diameter, female-part thickness and cap profile. The published range covers 14 and 18 mm families; those nominal sizes do not replace a component drawing.
Work on a stable surface and use an appropriate striking tool in accordance with the supplied instructions. Keep the setting tool square to the base, support the visible face and trial the actual material stack. Stop if the cap tilts, the material puckers or the closure no longer mates correctly. Inspect both attached halves before assessing the finished opening feel.
What to tell us about your double-rivet snap
Send the snap model, photographs of both sides, cap or eyelet dimensions and the total material thickness. Identify the tool components you already have and the installation method you intend to use.
Tooling supplied for a Richarms product must match that particular product specification. Neither a similar appearance nor the same nominal diameter proves compatibility with another manufacturer’s hardware. Ask for a fit check when the product or tool source changes.

Hand-setting trials and acceptance
Agree a sample-setting trial before releasing a tool combination for production. Check the installed part for looseness, rotation, deformation, visible marks and proper magnetic engagement. Include the backing or reinforcement used in the finished article.
Keep the approved product, tool reference and setup record together. If a later material batch changes thickness or firmness, repeat the fitting check. More setting force is not a reliable remedy for an incorrect rivet length or a mismatched support profile.
Questions about double rivet hand tools
Is a hammer included?
Confirm the supplied tool list on the quotation. Product photographs may show assembly examples or components used for demonstration.
Can I use this as a press die?
Do not assume so. Press tooling requires a compatible mounting connection and seating arrangement.
Are the tools universal between manufacturers?
No. Product geometry and tooling connections may differ. Provide samples or drawings for a compatibility assessment.
What should be checked before production?
Approve the tool fit and a finished-material setting sample, including appearance, attachment stability and closure operation.
