The RC-ZDR1420 and RC-ZDR1820 references cover 14 and 18 mm snap families. Select the cap and mating body together; a custom front face does not make the underlying rivet or die dimensions universal.
A decorative cap on a double-rivet construction
A complete set uses the male and female closure parts and fastening caps for the two attachment locations. Confirm the cap diameter, rivet length and material stack before choosing the setting tools. Component materials can differ, so specify the visible cap separately from the magnetic bodies.
Use a supported die that follows the cap profile. Trial the actual leather, reinforcement and lining, then inspect each fastening for rotation or looseness. Finally, check the mated pair for alignment and surface damage. Approve any custom mark on a sample cap before the production order.

Checking the decorative cap on samples
Inspect the complete installed sample for alignment, loose movement, finish damage and interference with the lining. Open and close it in the direction used by the finished product. If retention is a specified requirement, agree the measurement method and acceptance criteria for that assembly.
