A rounded-ear face with a separate mating piece

Specify the complete width across the ears, the height of the main face and the rear fixing positions. A measurement taken only across the center circle leaves out the space required by the projections.

Trial the fitting on the intended flap, including the lining and any backing layer. Check edge clearance, opening access and the position of the mating piece. If you require a different outline or your own artwork, submit that design for feasibility review and confirm the rights to use it before production.

Structure, finish and fixing dimensions

The listed housing material is zinc alloy. Confirm the rear fixing method, mating part and complete supplied set on the current drawing. The outer ornament and the functional closing components need separate measurements.

Finish references in this range include nickel, light gold, rose-gold-tone, antique brass and brushed effects. Availability varies by design. Send a color sample and any authorized artwork; confirm the finish, dimensions and marking area before approving tooling or a bulk order.

Sample approval for the finished accessory

Agree the inspection points before ordering: face dimensions, rear attachment fit, visible finish, closure alignment and the opening action on the finished material. Keep the approved sample and component drawing together so later orders refer to the same version.

A loose hardware sample is useful for appearance, but it cannot replace a fitted prototype. Include lining and reinforcement in the trial, and check for marks or movement after repeated opening. Ask Richarms to confirm the sampling steps, quantity and lead time for the selected specification.

Questions about rounded-ear magnetic closure

Does a generic product name establish design clearance?

No. Descriptive wording does not resolve rights in the illustrated shape. The chosen design needs a separate rights review.

Can I request a different outline?

Provide an authorized drawing with overall dimensions and fixing constraints. Tooling feasibility and sample requirements must be confirmed.

Is there one installation method for all decorative locks?

No. Use the selected product drawing and matched components. Confirm hole positions, backing and tooling before preparing the finished material.

What information is needed for a quotation?

Send the intended application, required quantity, face size, material-stack thickness, finish reference and any customization drawing.

Compare related options

Compare square magnetic bag closure, diamond magnetic box closure when reviewing a different structure or installation route.

Send the product reference, application photographs or drawing, required finish and planned quantity through our product inquiry page.
