A compact shaped front with a central detail

Compare the front outline against the flap width, then review the rear fastening points. Pay particular attention to the space around the central detail: a narrow or heavily padded flap may change how the fitting sits.

Make an installation sample with the intended leather and lining before placing the production order. The face should sit level and the mating parts should meet without forcing the flap sideways. Check the finish around the center recess as well as the broad visible face.

Structure, finish and fixing dimensions

The listed housing material is zinc alloy. Confirm the rear fixing method, mating part and complete supplied set on the current drawing. The outer ornament and the functional closing components need separate measurements.

Finish references in this range include nickel, light gold, rose-gold-tone, antique brass and brushed effects. Availability varies by design. Send a color sample and any authorized artwork; confirm the finish, dimensions and marking area before approving tooling or a bulk order.

Sample approval for the finished accessory

Agree the inspection points before ordering: face dimensions, rear attachment fit, visible finish, closure alignment and the opening action on the finished material. Keep the approved sample and component drawing together so later orders refer to the same version.

A loose hardware sample is useful for appearance, but it cannot replace a fitted prototype. Include lining and reinforcement in the trial, and check for marks or movement after repeated opening. Ask Richarms to confirm the sampling steps, quantity and lead time for the selected specification.

Questions about french square magnetic closure

Is this the same as a French-square prong snap?

No. Select it as the pictured decorative lock assembly and confirm its drawing rather than reusing a snap installation pattern.

How should I specify the finish?

Provide a physical or photographic color reference and identify whether all visible surfaces should match.

Is there one installation method for all decorative locks?

No. Use the selected product drawing and matched components. Confirm hole positions, backing and tooling before preparing the finished material.

What information is needed for a quotation?

Send the intended application, required quantity, face size, material-stack thickness, finish reference and any customization drawing.
