RC-C1840 — 18mm Standard Magnetic Snap

Female shell thickness: 3.8mm; prong length: 9mm; magnet diameter: 17mm. It provides a balanced profile and is widely used for handbags, wallets and general bag production.

RC-C1845 — 18mm Thick Magnetic Snap

Female shell thickness: 4.5mm; prong length: 9mm; magnet diameter: 17mm. This popular thicker profile is suitable for backpacks, leather bags, totes, briefcases and other everyday closures. Standard and stronger magnet configurations are available.

Materials and Magnetic Strength

The male shell is normally steel. Female shells can be produced in steel, brass or stainless steel according to cost, corrosion resistance and application requirements.

Standard and Strong Magnet Options

Standard versions use a ferrite permanent magnet for general closures. For projects requiring greater holding force, a neodymium magnet can be added or substituted after application testing. Holding force should be selected together with fabric thickness, reinforcement and opening feel.

Rainbow Finish and Custom Branding

Rainbow vacuum plating creates a multicolor surface whose appearance varies by angle and lighting. Buyers may specify a rainbow top with a rainbow base or a rainbow top with a gold base. Other finishes include nickel, gold, gunmetal, rose gold, brushed nickel, brushed gold, pearl nickel, pearl gold and spray colors.

Logo and Surface Options

The female face can be plain, patterned or branded. The male component can carry standard wording or a custom logo. Available branding methods include laser marking, deep laser engraving and custom tooling.

One complete set contains one male part, one female part and two washers. Standard packing is 200 sets per box for 14mm models or 100 sets per box for 18mm models, with 20 boxes per carton. Packing can be adjusted for approved B2B orders.
