An open star outline for purse hardware

Place a full-size outline on the bag pattern before fixing the hardware position. Allow clearance around the star points and check whether the rear fastening area overlaps a fold. Avoid deciding the fixing position from the center of a photograph alone.

During sample review, inspect the tips and inner corners for a smooth finish. Open the bag using the planned grip and check that fingers do not pull against a sharp fabric fold. A reinforcement patch may help distribute force on soft materials, but its need depends on the actual construction.

Structure, finish and fixing dimensions

The listed housing material is zinc alloy. Confirm the rear fixing method, mating part and complete supplied set on the current drawing. The outer ornament and the functional closing components need separate measurements.

Finish references in this range include nickel, light gold, rose-gold-tone, antique brass and brushed effects. Availability varies by design. Send a color sample and any authorized artwork; confirm the finish, dimensions and marking area before approving tooling or a bulk order.

Sample approval for the finished accessory

Agree the inspection points before ordering: face dimensions, rear attachment fit, visible finish, closure alignment and the opening action on the finished material. Keep the approved sample and component drawing together so later orders refer to the same version.

A loose hardware sample is useful for appearance, but it cannot replace a fitted prototype. Include lining and reinforcement in the trial, and check for marks or movement after repeated opening. Ask Richarms to confirm the sampling steps, quantity and lead time for the selected specification.

Questions about star magnetic bag lock

Will the material be visible through the star?

Yes, the pictured face has an open center. Include that background in the design review.

Can the star lock use an existing round-snap hole pattern?

Not without checking the rear drawing and mating part. The decorative outline and attachment dimensions are separate decisions.

Is there one installation method for all decorative locks?

No. Use the selected product drawing and matched components. Confirm hole positions, backing and tooling before preparing the finished material.

What information is needed for a quotation?

Send the intended application, required quantity, face size, material-stack thickness, finish reference and any customization drawing.
