A chain-detail closure for belt development

Provide the belt width, chain-link dimensions and a drawing of each end connection. Also describe the direction in which the wearer will open the closure. A fitting that works on a flat sample can rotate when attached to a flexible chain.

Build a complete belt sample rather than testing only the loose lock. Examine rotation, skin-side edges, opening force and finish contact with neighboring links. This decorative magnetic fitting is not a safety restraint or a substitute for a load-rated fastening system.

Structure, finish and fixing dimensions

The listed housing material is zinc alloy. Confirm the rear fixing method, mating part and complete supplied set on the current drawing. The outer ornament and the functional closing components need separate measurements.

Finish references in this range include nickel, light gold, rose-gold-tone, antique brass and brushed effects. Availability varies by design. Send a color sample and any authorized artwork; confirm the finish, dimensions and marking area before approving tooling or a bulk order.

Sample approval for the finished accessory

Agree the inspection points before ordering: face dimensions, rear attachment fit, visible finish, closure alignment and the opening action on the finished material. Keep the approved sample and component drawing together so later orders refer to the same version.

A loose hardware sample is useful for appearance, but it cannot replace a fitted prototype. Include lining and reinforcement in the trial, and check for marks or movement after repeated opening. Ask Richarms to confirm the sampling steps, quantity and lead time for the selected specification.

Questions about chain belt magnetic closure

Does the pictured chain detail include a full belt chain?

The image shows the closure face. Confirm the supplied components and any separate chain on the quotation.

What dimension should I send first?

Send the belt width or chain-link size together with the intended end connection. Face size alone cannot establish fit.

Is there one installation method for all decorative locks?

No. Use the selected product drawing and matched components. Confirm hole positions, backing and tooling before preparing the finished material.

What information is needed for a quotation?

Send the intended application, required quantity, face size, material-stack thickness, finish reference and any customization drawing.

Compare related options

Compare c-shaped magnetic closure, french square magnetic closure when reviewing a different structure or installation route.

Send the product reference, application photographs or drawing, required finish and planned quantity through our product inquiry page. Include the matching-part or material details so we can review the correct version and confirm the next sampling step.

Chain belt magnetic closure hardware has a rectangular face with a chain-style decorative detail.
