A framed square face for bag flaps

Check the frame envelope, the mating position and the fixing centers against the bag pattern. If the bag has a diagonal seam or a narrow flap, use a full-size mock-up to decide whether the frame leaves enough room for stitching.

Compare the panel finish under the same light as the surrounding leather. For assembly approval, look for a level frame, clean corners and a flap that closes without twisting. Confirm the current component weight on the quotation if weight is important to the design.

Structure, finish and fixing dimensions

The listed housing material is zinc alloy. Confirm the rear fixing method, mating part and complete supplied set on the current drawing. The outer ornament and the functional closing components need separate measurements.

Finish references in this range include nickel, light gold, rose-gold-tone, antique brass and brushed effects. Availability varies by design. Send a color sample and any authorized artwork; confirm the finish, dimensions and marking area before approving tooling or a bulk order.

Sample approval for the finished accessory

Agree the inspection points before ordering: face dimensions, rear attachment fit, visible finish, closure alignment and the opening action on the finished material. Keep the approved sample and component drawing together so later orders refer to the same version.

A loose hardware sample is useful for appearance, but it cannot replace a fitted prototype. Include lining and reinforcement in the trial, and check for marks or movement after repeated opening. Ask Richarms to confirm the sampling steps, quantity and lead time for the selected specification.

Questions about square magnetic bag closure

Can this replace a thin square snap?

Only after the complete attachment layout and installed stack have been compared. The products have different structures.

Why should I confirm weight separately?

Weight depends on the selected assembly. Use the current sample and quotation rather than an assumed value for all square closures.

Is there one installation method for all decorative locks?

No. Use the selected product drawing and matched components. Confirm hole positions, backing and tooling before preparing the finished material.

What information is needed for a quotation?

Send the intended application, required quantity, face size, material-stack thickness, finish reference and any customization drawing.
