Arc segment neodymium magnets are curved magnetic components for assemblies that require a defined radius. They suit projects in which flat bars cannot follow the intended mounting surface or pole arrangement.

The curved profile must match the assembly drawing. Inner and outer radius, arc angle and axial length describe different parts of the geometry and should not be replaced by a single nominal diameter.

Curved NdFeB segments matched to a radius

Show the segment cross-section, the allowed gap to neighboring pieces and the required pole direction. If several segments form a circle, include the complete layout and identify the orientation of each part.

Discuss the operating environment before selecting the grade and coating. The photograph demonstrates a curved form, not a tested motor rating or a universal temperature limit. In a sample assembly, check seating, clearance and the magnetic function before approving the production specification. Protect the curved edges from impact during handling.

Drawing-led specification and customization

Send a drawing with dimensions, tolerances, magnetization direction and the required quantity. Describe the working gap, mating material, mounting method and environment. These inputs help distinguish a suitable magnetic component from a part that merely fits the space.

Confirm the material grade and any surface treatment on the quotation. Do not infer a temperature rating, pull force or coating performance from the photograph. Where a measured requirement matters, agree the test arrangement and acceptance criteria before sample approval.

Handling and sample validation

Protect magnets from impact and from uncontrolled contact with other magnets or metal parts. Support brittle edges during assembly, keep loose pieces away from children and use appropriate precautions around magnet-sensitive equipment.

The sample review should cover dimensions, pole orientation, visible damage and function in the intended assembly. Record the approved specification and test setup so later comparisons use the same gap, mating material and orientation. Ask Richarms to confirm drawing feasibility and the sample process before scheduling production.

Questions about arc segment neodymium magnets

Can two arcs with the same outer radius be interchanged?

Not necessarily. Their inner radius, angle, length, tolerances and magnetization can differ.

Are these automatically suitable for a motor?

Motor suitability requires a defined magnetic and mechanical design. Provide the operating requirements and validate the chosen samples in that design.

Can a photograph establish magnetic strength?

No. A meaningful strength requirement needs a defined measurement method, geometry and operating gap.

What is needed before a custom quotation?

Provide the dimensioned drawing, grade or functional requirement, magnetization direction, mounting environment and order quantity.
