A decorative cap on a double-rivet construction

A complete set uses the male and female closure parts and fastening caps for the two attachment locations. Confirm the cap diameter, rivet length and material stack before choosing the setting tools. Component materials can differ, so specify the visible cap separately from the magnetic bodies.

Use a supported die that follows the cap profile. Trial the actual leather, reinforcement and lining, then inspect each fastening for rotation or looseness. Finally, check the mated pair for alignment and surface damage. Approve any custom mark on a sample cap before the production order.

Cap design, snap size and rivet fit

Choose the mating halves, backing components and attachment dimensions as a set. State the finished material thickness, including lining and reinforcement, and identify the visible finish required for each side.

Confirm the component materials and magnet option on the selected drawing and quotation. Similar-looking variants can differ in body depth or attachment geometry. Send authorized artwork if a custom mark is needed, and approve its position on a sample before ordering.

Checking the decorative cap on samples

Inspect the complete installed sample for alignment, loose movement, finish damage and interference with the lining. Open and close it in the direction used by the finished product. If retention is a specified requirement, agree the measurement method and acceptance criteria for that assembly.

Keep the approved component set, drawing and fitted sample as the ordering reference. Confirm quantity, packing, sampling steps and production timing with Richarms for the selected version. A new material stack or different mating part needs a fresh compatibility check.

Questions about custom double rivet snaps

Does one hole attach the entire closure?

Each closure half has its own attachment location. Confirm the hole and rivet requirements for both sides of the finished product.

Can I use dies for the standard steel-cap version?

Only after verifying the cap profile and rivet geometry. A zinc alloy decorative cap may need different support.

Can this be mixed with another manufacturer’s mating part?

Do not assume interchangeability. Compare the complete geometry and test the selected pair before specifying it.

What do you need to recommend a size?

Send the application, available mounting area, full material-stack thickness, attachment method, finish requirement and expected quantity.

Standard double-rivet snaps and tooling

Compare double rivet magnetic snaps fastener, double rivet hand tools, double rivet press dies when reviewing a different structure or installation route.

Send the product reference, application photographs or drawing, required finish and planned quantity through our product inquiry page. Include the matching-part or material details so we can review the correct version and confirm the next sampling step.

Custom double rivet snaps combine magnetic closure halves with a zinc alloy cap option. They suit bag and leather-accessory projects that want a visible cap treatment while using rivet attachment through the material.

[15

post-6109","product","type-product","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","product_cat-magnetic-snaps","first","instock","shipping-taxable","product-type-simple

Send your cap artwork for a sample
