A hand-tool route for single-rivet closures

Use the RC-SR hand-tool reference with the exact snap variant. Confirm the cap diameter, post length and finished material thickness, including reinforcement and lining. These details help establish whether the selected rivet can set correctly.

Prepare the hole with a suitable matched punch, seat the component fully and keep the tool upright over a supported base. Follow the supplied setting instructions and test on scrap material first. Inspect the underside as well as the visible cap; the closure should not wobble or pull the material out of shape.

Snap details needed for the hand tool

Send the snap model, photographs of both sides, cap or eyelet dimensions and the total material thickness. Identify the tool components you already have and the installation method you intend to use.

Tooling supplied for a Richarms product must match that particular product specification. Neither a similar appearance nor the same nominal diameter proves compatibility with another manufacturer’s hardware. Ask for a fit check when the product or tool source changes.

Tool references: Iron setting tools; RC-SR1420T, RC-SR1435T, RC-SR1820T, RC-SR1840T and RC-SR1845T references.

Agree a sample-setting trial before releasing a tool combination for production. Check the installed part for looseness, rotation, deformation, visible marks and proper magnetic engagement. Include the backing or reinforcement used in the finished article.

Keep the approved product, tool reference and setup record together. If a later material batch changes thickness or firmness, repeat the fitting check. More setting force is not a reliable remedy for an incorrect rivet length or a mismatched support profile.

No. Rivet and cap geometry vary. Match the tool to the selected product rather than its general name.

Check rivet length, material stack and die fit before adding more setting force. Excess force can deform an incorrect combination.

No. Product geometry and tooling connections may differ. Provide samples or drawings for a compatibility assessment.

Approve the tool fit and a finished-material setting sample, including appearance, attachment stability and closure operation.

Compare single rivet press dies, single rivet magnetic snaps fastener, double rivet hand tools when reviewing a different structure or installation route.

Send the product reference, application photographs or drawing, required finish and planned quantity through our product inquiry page. Include the matching-part or material details so we can review the correct version and confirm the next sampling step.

Single rivet hand tools support the corresponding snap components during manual setting. They are intended for matched single-rivet magnetic snap work, including prototype assembly and small-batch trials.

[79

post-7098","product","type-product","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","product_cat-tooling","first","instock","shipping-taxable","product-type-simple

Trial setting and checking the fitted cap
